Our Mission
The Lake Blue Ridge Civic Association is dedicated to protecting the natural beauty of Lake Blue Ridge and nurturing the spirit of our community. Through stewardship, charitable outreach, and meaningful social gatherings, we are investing in both the community we love and the generations who are proud to call this community home.
FIREWORKS
Since 2018, LBRCA has produced “Fire in the Sky”. This 30-minute fireworks show on the lake is generously funded by the LBRCA, Corporate Sponsors, local businesses, and individuals. See all the details about our fireworks by clicking here!
LBRCA coordinates and awards annual scholarships to deserving Fannin County students who will attend college or technical and vocational schools. Help us educate our community youth in valuable trades that help them help us!
STEWARDSHIP
Lake Cleanups: Member volunteers gather twice a year to clean up debris from the lake and public areas surrounding
the lake. LBRCA has adopted a mile of Dry Branch Road near Green Creek to keep it clean of roadside litter.
Boating Safety Classes: We conduct Boating Safety classes in conjunction with the Dept. of Natural Resources.
This year we hosted our first Wine Tasting night, our annual Family Feud game, and a wild and wacky Luau lakeside! In autumn, we offer a member-only Blues & BBQ Train, Halloween Bonfire, and Christmas Gala. During summer months, we regularly meet for lake tie-ups. The Benefits of Corporate Sponsorship
LBRCA is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and relies on the support of residents and local businesses.

Sponsorships are $250 per calendar year and entitle sponsors to exclusive access to our members through the various LBRCA channels.

Reach our database of over 1,200 email addresses of members and people interested in Lake Blue Ridge – a customer base that is eager to eat, shop, and support local businesses in the area.

Your business logo, information, and website link will be embedded in the LBRCA website, driving traffic to your site or digital media channels.

We will offer Corporate Sponsors posts for their business and announcements for promotions, etc. Our website will highlight a monthly “Sponsor Spotlight” with information about your business.

The LBRCA website has been averaging over 11,000 visitors each month, with up to 5,700 sessions each month.

The LBRCA Facebook page has over 1,600 followers.

LBRCA also sends out quarterly email newsletters to all LBRCA members and interested people (approximately 1,200 email addresses) with interesting information about Lake Blue Ridge.
